In our event, where speakers who are representatives of the sector shared their experiences, our participants learned from the first person how they can maximize the efficiency in their factories. The event, which was also attended by MES engineers working under our own academy organization trexAcademy, started with the opening speech of our Marketing Coordinator Furkan Işık.
"WE SHOULD ADOPT INDUSTRY 4.0 AS A TOOL, NOT A GOAL"
İlhan Özdemir, our General Manager, took the floor first and gave information about Industry 4.0 and its components. In his speech, Mr. Özdemir said that Germany will provide 40 billion Euros to companies and the EU will provide 140 billion Euros to member countries for Industry 4.0 investments until 2020, and explained that Turkey is already producing at 23 units lower cost than Germany. In his speech, he emphasized that 150 companies in Germany have received support for around 400 Industry 4.0-oriented projects, while Japan and France have received support for 170 projects each, with around 80 companies, and said, "We should acquire Industry 4.0 tools as a tool, not as a goal. For high productivity, we need to uncover the missing icebergs and take action accordingly."
In his presentation titled "The place of MES in ERP Systems", Kamil İrfan Erdoğan, General Manager of EES ERP, said that they can instantly communicate the reasons for downtime to the relevant unit and that they provide the "write what you do, do what you write" process thanks to TREX. İlhan Göksü, TOFAŞ Infrastructure Manager, in his presentation on "The Importance of MES in Defect Elimination Projects and Smart Station 4.0", said that they produce in WCM class, that they follow 500 reasons for stoppages on a single line, and explained the gains they achieved with the smart station project with TREX and the projects they are preparing to implement in the near future. While our General Manager İlhan Özdemir gave information about Industry 4.0 and its components, UKS Üçler Kelepçe Process Development Specialist Enes Karakaşlı shared MES Application in Sheet Metal Forming with our participants.
ARIKAN Otomotiv General Manager Ahmet Arıkan participated in the organization with a speech answering the question "What Have We Gained with MES?", while NSK Group MES Systems Project Leader Yasin Yavuz discussed MES Application in Machining. MES Systems in Rubber and Vulcanization was presented by Cem Burak Timur, Vibracoustic MES Project Leader. Merve Efe, General Manager of REGATA Consultancy, explained the State Incentive Alternatives and Processes in MES Systems.
Government incentives in MES Systems were among the topics to be discussed.
