Advantages of Cloud Technologies for Businesses

Both in the world and in our country, it is unthinkable for businesses to be competitive in their sectors without using information technologies. In order to comply with global competitive conditions such as low cost, efficiency, service in a wide geography, flexibility and speed, all today's businesses, whether small or large, invest in information technologies at the rate of their budgets and aim to use these technologies in the most efficient way.

However, as the hardware, software and services used by businesses become more complex as they become widespread, the management and maintenance costs increase and become more difficult, and this starts to strain businesses in terms of financial and human resources. Although business managers know that information technologies are a necessity for competition, this environment of complexity and inefficiency makes them question whether these investments are necessary.

At this point, instead of making large investments in IT technologies and establishing the infrastructure to manage it, the idea of procuring these services from central service providers has emerged. In this way, businesses would be able to use the software and services they need without any problems and leave the maintenance, management and sustainability of this work to another company specialized in its field. This change is called cloud computing or cloud computing.

In summary, cloud computing is a model that allows users to access their computing, storage and application needs over the internet without requiring any infrastructure investment and technical knowledge. A well-known example of cloud technologies is Google services. To open the example, instead of installing a mail client program on users' computers to benefit from e-mail services, tracking and licensing new versions of these software, you can provide a seamless e-mail service to your staff working in your business with just a username and password with the Gmail service. In the same way, in order for employees to have a common storage solution and to share the documents they work on with each other, you can now bring this service to your business seamlessly with storage solutions with many alternatives from cloud services without the need for complex IT investments.

Thanks to the integration of cloud technologies into software and services developed in Turkey, Turkish businesses can now easily benefit from the advantages mentioned above. Company managers and white-collar workers can easily access all reports, data and documents outside the office in accordance with the slogan "your office is always with you" provided by cloud computing. With the rapid adaptation of mobile applications to this technology, even a computer is no longer needed for these transactions. With a mobile phone or tablet, applications such as ERP, Accounting, CRM used in the workplace can be easily accessed and it has become possible to work comfortably outside the office.

Thanks to cloud computing, employees can make their work more flexible and uninterrupted, while companies can make their IT infrastructure more efficient at more affordable costs by purchasing scalable hardware and software services.
